Rainer Borns departs from the immigon Management Board. Borns is appointed as the Chief Financial Officer at Volksbank Wien-Baden.

  • Vienna, 30. Nov. 2015. In the past 20 years Dr. Rainer Borns, 45, has contributed substantially toward the development of the Volksbanken Co-Operative. Between 1995 and 2001 the law graduate headed the department for advocacy groups at Österreichischer Volksbanken-Verband (ÖGV). 2001 he was appointed to the Management Board of ÖGV, which he was a part of until 2012. 2012 Borns joined the Sector’s Central Institution’s Management Board at Österreichische Volksbanken AG. On the Management Board Borns was responsible for sector related issues, IT infrastructure modernisation as well as further development of a co-operative-wide sales controlling. Borns also significantly contributed towards the restructuring of the Volksbank Co-Operative that took place between 2012 and 2015. Since the beginning of July 2015 Borns has been serving as an executive director on the Management Board of immigon portfolioabbau ag, ÖVAG’s successor company.
    Dr. Borns departs from the Management Board on the best of terms and is appointed to the Board of Directors for the Sector’s new Central Institution Volksbank Wien-Baden AG, in which he will serve as Chief Financial Officer.
